PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — One person was killed in a crash on I-276 in Montgomery County overnight Tuesday, according to authorities and a media report.

The incident occurred near the Fort Washington Exit #339 just after midnight.

Turnpike officials said the eastbound lanes of the expressway were shut down for around three hours overnight as the accident was cleared.

The road reopened before 4 a.m.

NBC Philadelphia reported that one of the victims of the crash died.
