3 Major Roads To Have Lanes Closed For Repaving In Whitemarsh Twp.

Lanes will be closed on Barren Hill Road, Joshua Road, and Stenton Avenue this week.

WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, PA — Several roads will see lanes closed and restricted in Whitemarsh Township this week as repaving work gets underway, potentially bringing some additional congestion to the area.

Work will take place from Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and then 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Three separate milling and paving projects are planned.

  • A lane of Barren Hill Road will be closed between Ridge Pike and Hector Road
  • A lane of Joshua Road/Lafayette Avenue will be closed between Cedar Grove Road and Morris Road
  • A lane of Stenton Avenue/Pennlynn Blue Bell Pike will be closed between Norfolk Southern railroad bridge and Route 73
