Blackfish BYOB, Storied Conshohocken Establishment, To Close For Good
The beloved local spot has been a favorite for two decades.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Blackfish BYOB, a restaurant which has grown into one of Conshohocken's iconic establishments over the past two decades, is closing its doors for good.
"After nearly 20 years, I've made the heartfelt decision to close Blackfish BYOB and begin the next chapter of my life," owners Chip and Amanda Roman wrote in emotional announcement. "This is not a decision I made lightly. This restaurant has been a defining part of my story, my work, and my heart."
The long-standing establishment, which sits on 119 Fayette Street, will have its final dinner service on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Blackfish gained a reputation for its unique ingredients, original recipes, and artistic design of its dishes.
"This decision comes with immense gratitude for our guests who became family and for the incredible team who brought this place to life every single day," the Gormans added.

They also thanked the staff, both past and present, calling them the "soul of the place."
