Chemical Road In Plymouth Meeting Is Once Again Open To Motorists After Sinkhole Repair

The road had been closed between Metroplex Boulevard and Germantown Pike. The Blue Route Exit 19 northbound ramp is also reopening.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — A portion of Chemical Road between Metroplex Boulevard and Germantown Pike, a busy thoroughfare in a commercial heavy section of Plymouth Meeting, is once again reopen after road crews recently worked at the location to repair a sinkhole.

The Exit 19 ramp from Interstate 476, colloquially known as the 'Blue Route,' was also expected to reopen Tuesday afternoon after roadwork signs and barriers are removed, according to a report on CBS 3 Philly.
