Friends present $6,000 to Jeanes Library

The Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library were pleased to present $6,000 of 2nd Quarter funding at the April 11, 2024 meeting of the Friends of the Library Board.

Monies were presented to library director Lisa Clancy, MSLS for the following:

1. 2nd Quarter Programming Fund check in the amount of $4,000
2. 2nd Quarter Museum Passes Fund check in the amount of $1,500
3. Honorarium for Spring book sale volunteers in the amount of $500

A portion of these funds will be used by the library to schedule programming.
Additionally, these monies are used by the library to fund FREE PASSES to 27 of the 37 cultural institutions and for refreshments at Library programs.
