I-76 Reopens After Conshohocken Crash Shuts Down Road For Hours

The crash added to a hellish morning commute in Montgomery County Thursday.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — A major crash shut down I-76 eastbound in Montgomery County for hours on Thursday morning, according to turnpike officials and media reports.

The incident occurred at around 7 a.m. between exits 331B for Plymouth Meeting and I-76 north, and Exit 338 for Green Lane in Manayunk.

Numerous vehicles were involved in the crash.

NBC Philadelphia reports that a dump truck was one of the vehicles involved.

Only minor injuries have been reported, according to 6ABC.

The road was back up and running with all lanes open by mid-morning, though the damage to the morning commute was done.
