Montco Celebrates 100 and Over

Centenarians: those persons over 100 years old. If you or someone you know qualifies and lives in Montgomery County, please let them know. They will be honored in a county-wide celebration on May 1.

Montgomery County will hold its fourth annual Centenarian Celebration at Dock Woods, 275 Dock Drive in Lansdale on May 1, according to a release from the county. Registration that day begins at 10:30 a.m., and the celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Reservations are necessary to join in the festivities, and must be made by April 5. There are only a few days left!

For more information, please call the county offices at 610-278-3422. Registration forms are online here. The celebration includes a luncheon for each centenarian and one guest. There is no cost for the centenarian or his or her guest.

Additional guests are welcome to attend at a cost. There will also be entertainment, music and giveaways included in the day's events.
