Montgomery Subacute and Respiratory Center in Plymouth Meeting has earned a Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). Located at 251 Stenton Avenue, the 60-bed skilled nursing facility cares exclusively for ventilator-dependent patients.

“Earning this prestigious national honor reflects Montgomery’s dedication to providing next-level specialized care and services for a complex patient population,” said Danielle Koons, regional vice president of market development – Pennsylvania for Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Montgomery. “Our congratulations to the center’s entire team on this notable achievement.”

AHCA/NCAL is the nation’s largest association of long-term and post-acute care providers. The Bronze award represents the first of three distinctions possible through its National Quality Award Program, which acknowledges organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of residents and staff in long term care.

As a 2024 Bronze award recipient, Montgomery can move on to the second level of the program, the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of criteria in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer and workforce, operations, and knowledge management.

Located in the heart of Montgomery County just northwest of Philadelphia, Montgomery Subacute and Respiratory Center offers a comprehensive continuum of specialized care to ventilator-dependent patients, including ventilator management and weaning, skilled nursing, hemodialysis, dementia care and wound care.
