Plymouth Meeting Mall To Reopen June 26
Masks are required for customers and staff at the mall, the mall clarified.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Plymouth Meeting Mall will officially open up its doors to the public on Friday, June 26, the first day Montgomery County moves to the green phase of the state's graduated coronavirus mitigation plan.
Masks are required for customers to the mall, officials clarified. Masks will be available to customers at the door of the mall, according to Preit, the owners of the mall.
Common area seating has been removed from the mall. The play area has been closed. And access to the store has been limited to two entrances. Capacity limits of up to 50 percent of prior capacity will be enforced, Preit said, with customer counting executed by a special software.

Preit expressed optimism their malls would flourish economically upon reopening.
"Traffic and data for (Preit's) open properties support a strong return for its retail and experiential tenants," the company said in a statement announcing a broad reopening of their properties across the Delaware Valley over the coming weeks.

All staff members of mall stores have been "recommended" to wear masks, Preit said. Touchless payment options are preferred. Floor decals indicate social distancing guidelines. Preit said their guidelines followed established CDC protocols.
The mall, which has been mostly closed since March, will retain its Mall2Go contactless pickup services. For anyone who is looking for a job, PREIT has established a job portal to collect contact information from interested candidates.
The mall will operate at reduced hours, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
In anticipation of reopening, the Plymouth Meeting Mall was cleaned, sanitized, had their water systems flushed, and the fresh air increased in HVAC systems. After opening, the mall will undergo stringent cleaning and sanitizing procedures, especially in "high touch areas," PREIT said.
Many stores at Plymouth Meeting Mall are already open, particularly those that are not connected to the mall proper, or those with public, exterior-facing entrances. Open stores as of Monday include Benihana, Bertucci's, Boscov's, Burlington, California Pizza Kitchen, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Dick's Sporting Goods, J. Crew, Main Street Pizza, Michaels, Redstone American Grill, Restore Hyper Wellness and Cryotherapy, Roll by Goodyear, Whole Foods, and Zoe's Kitchen.
