Sinkhole Closes Plymouth Road In Plymouth Township: PennDOT

PennDOT said northbound Plymouth Road will be closed until engineers can further assess the sinkhole's damage and plan the repair work.

PLYMOUTH, PA — PennDOT has closed northbound Plymouth Road in Plymouth Township as its crews work to address a sinkhole on the road.

According to PennDOT, the road is closed between Butler Pike and Rittenhouse Square in Plymouth Township.

The road will be closed until PennDOT engineers can further assess the extent of the damage and develop a plan to fully repair and safely reopen the highway

During the closure, drivers are being detoured to Flourtown Road, Joshua Road, and Germantown Pike.
