Stenton Avenue In Whitemarsh To Close For Water Main Work Aug. 16
Aqua PA will begin water main installation work along Stenton Ave. in Whitemarsh beginning Aug. 16 and running through the end of the year.

WHITEMARSH, PA — Residents of Whitemarsh and motorists who traverse the community are being warned of an upcoming road closure.
Aqua Pennsylvania has plans to close Stenton Avenue between Butler Pike and Sheaff Lane starting next Monday, Aug. 16, for water main installation work, according to an announcement from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The closure will be in effect on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is expected to last through December 31.

Those whose commutes take them through this portion of Stenton Avenue will be detoured along Butler Pike, Skippack Pike (State Route 73), and Militia Hill Road, according to PennDOT.
