1 Killed In Route 422 Motorcycle Crash

NORTH COVENTRY, PA — One person was killed after an overnight motorcycle crash on Route 422 over the weekend.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Sept. 21 at around 1:30 a.m. near mile market 171.4, in North Coventry Township.

The motorcycle rider was identified at Dylan McConnon, 34, of Pottstown.

Police said he was heading on the Route 100 south ramp onto 422 when he was unable to negotiate the turn and lost control.

The motorcycle fell to the right and skidded across both lanes of Route 422 westbound before striking the center guide rail, according to investigators.

McConnon was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
