• Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 833 North State Street in Pottstown, from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 6 will host a "Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast" to support Men Pursuing Purpose. Cost is $7 per person, $5 for children 12 and under.
• The 2011 US Open Bus Trip departs from the Pottstown YMCA parking lot, 724 N. Adams Street, at 6:30 a.m. Aug. 31. Cost is $110 per person. Registration closes Aug. 29.
