Fun 'Comes Across On Stage'

US Rails will perform at the Elks Grand Lodge, 61 East High Street in Pottstown, on Aug. 21.

Longtime friends from the Philadelphia area, members of the band US Rails will release a new record "Southern Canon" at all shows on their upcoming Philly regional tour, band member Ben Arnold said.

The album includes 13 new, original tunes by Arnold and band members Scott Bricklin, Tom Gillam, Joseph Parsons and one from drummer Matt Muir -- a Pottstown native.

"Southern Canon" was recorded last year in Germany.
