Gallery Celebrates Summer

The Gallery on High in Pottstown highlights summer splendor in the works of over 25 local artists. 

Each piece celebrates some of the best parts of the summer, said Julie Tonnessen of the Gallery via email. 

“Visitors can take a virtual vacation gazing at some gorgeous beach scenes, marvel at the beauty of a butterfly, and enjoy the serenity of a landscape featuring a local bridge,” she said.

The show will run from June 11 through Aug. 13. 

The Gallery will host a free reception from 1 to 3 p.m. July 16.  

The exhibit can be viewed during regular Gallery hours:  

10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tues. - Fri. and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sat.

 The Gallery on High hosts rotating shows featuring local artists and sells handcrafted, unique art pieces.

To help students develop their creative skills, the Gallery School of Pottstown, a 501c3 non-profit community art school and gallery, offers day, evening and weekend classes to all ages.
