High Scorers Named in Math Challenge

Students from Pottstown School District's five elementary schools competed in the event, which was held at Pottstown Middle School.

Pottstown School District recently held its annual Math Challenge.

A team of students from each of the district's five elementary schools competed in the event, which was held at Pottstown Middle School.  

The students competed in rounds of the Math 24 Game, which requires students to calculate math problems without using a calculator, pen or paper.

The final round of the competition determined the district's high scorer per grade level. This year’s award winners were:

·        3rd grade – Winni Weng - Lincoln

·        4th grade – Destyn Snyder - Lincoln

·        5th grade – Rachael Martin – Franklin

Every student in the competition received a certificate and Math 24 T-shirt at an awards program.
