I saw piglets, pups wearing dresses, and a police dog who can understand the Czech language.

This was my first Pottstown Pet Fair and I enjoyed chatting with people about their pets. My first stop was to talk with some of the Montgomery county Heath Department employees who were holding a low-cost rabies clinic. I visited with the friendly people from the Philadelphia Zoo, who brought an armadillo named Camilla and a polish chicken named Clarabelle, amongst other critters. I visited some black piglets, met Jak, the Pottstown police department’s law enforcement dog who responds to both Czech and English, and came across Luna, a sweet, little, blind puppy who is a looking for a caring home.
