Looking for a unique summer camp experience?

Pottsgrove Manor will host Colonial Kids Day Camp, a week-long program that will take children on a historical trip through early Pennsylvania life at the home of John Potts, founder of Pottstown.

The camp will be held 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. July 11 - 15 and include crafts, facts and stories about Potts, his family, their servants and slaves.

Hands-on activities will include a quill and ink writing lesson, the art of dipped candles and butter churning.

This camp is open to children entering grades four to six in the fall of 2011. Cost is $100 per child. Call Pottsgrove Manor at 610-326-4014 and register by June 27.
