Montco Man Killed After Driving Wrong Way On NJ Turnpike: Police
The driver was identified as a 44-year-old local man, authorities said.
POTTSTOWN, PA — A man who was killed after driving the wrong way into traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend has been identified as a Montgomery County man, police said.
The driver was Bruce Canfield, 44, of Pottstown.
The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on Saturday in Ridgefield Park.

Canfield was heading south in the northbound lanes when he crashed into a sedan, State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
It's not clear what caused Canfield to drive in the wrong lanes.

The driver of the sedan, a 39-year-old man from Poughkeepsie, New York, was seriously injured, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
