Four people were standing on the other side of the wall where the vehicle hit, owners said.

It's not yet clear what caused the incident. The vehicle struck the side of a stone wall, where the restaurant said there were four people standing, breaking through part of it and sending debris and various packaged desserts flying across the floor.

"Tragedy struck Italian Delite tonight… but thankfully as I always say trust in God and he will always have our back," the eatery shared on social media. "Thankfully they (the four people) walked out okay and not injured at all."

Officials believe the rocks in the wall stopped the vehicle from causing too much damage.

The eatery opened for normal hours the morning after the incident.
