Picturesque Pottstown

Tuesday's nearly perfect summer weather made for great photo opportunities in the borough.

"Anything that's interesting ... architecture and people."

That's how 1990ish Nikon F4-clad photog Les Berkley answered the question, "What are you shooting today?"

Berkley, of Pottstown, took advantage of Tuesday's mild temperatures and captured images in the borough.

"The weather is nice," he said of the cool afternoon in contrast to recent humid, hot days. "I'm tired of wiping sweat off the camera."

Berkley used his film camera to photograph the historic building on High Street across from the Pottstown transportation center.

"Films were made by experts," he said. "I love digital, too. They're just different things."
