Positively!Pottstown Hosts Happy Hour
Pottstown native Sue Repko and The Mercury held a community meet and greet event tonight.
Positively!Pottstown, a popular local blog by licensed urban planner and writer Sue Repko, hosted Happy Hour today at The Mercury, 24 N. Hanover Street.
Repko invited Pottstown Patch to the event, which included community members such as Pottstown Mayor Bonnie Heath, Teri Jensen-Sellers -- author of Roots of Revitalization Blog, Alan Jensen-Sellers of Davey tree and lawn care and WPAZ 1370 AM Production Manager Brian James.
The meet and greet was held for members of the community to network and unite, Repko said.

She started Positively!Pottstown in 2010 to promote the town's good aspects and publicize the area's restaurants, community events and other features.
The blog includes a variety of Pottstown events and information such as the recent Pottstown Art Show presented by the Pottstown Area Artists Guild and The Hill School Center for the Arts.

Repko is also an advocate for Pottstown's revitalization.
"I see Positively!Pottstown as another way to lend a hand to the revitalization efforts," she wrote on her blog.
