Pottstown's Own "Pop Art Guru"
James Enders said Pottstown holds a certain charm, is conveniently located near Philly, New York and provides an affordable space for his gallery and studio.
Tucked among a row of shops along E. High Street in Pottstown is an unexpected dimension of color, wonder and magic.
The James Enders Pop Art Gallery, 217 E. High Street, houses work reminiscent of great avant-garde and abstract painters of the past.
"I'm a fourth generation painter," James Enders said and added his family contributed to art including the early Greyhound Bus logo and pinstripe work for Henry Ford.

But the gallery's namesake and owner, known as the "Pop Art Guru," made his own unique mark in the art world.
His exhibitions include the Michael Perez Pop Art Gallery and The Hill School's Boyer Gallery.

Enders has called Pottstown home for roughly 16 years.
He travels a lot -- hangs out in circles that include Pablo Picasso's grandchildren -- but said Pottstown holds a certain charm, is conveniently located near Philly, New York and provides an affordable space for his gallery and studio.
