Pottstown Graduate Begins Law Enforcement Career

A 2016 Pottstown High School graduate went on to Penn State and now is an officer of the law.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A Pottstown High School graduate has become the newest member of the Manheim Borough Police Department in Lancaster County.

Mason Pennupacker graduated in 2016 and went on to graduate from Penn State and most recently from the Reading Police Academy.

Pennupacker, now sworn in as a law enforcement officer, was an honor roll student while at Pottstown High School, a member of the National Honor Society, a 100-match Trojan wrestler as well as a baseball player.

"The Manheim community could not have a better person to protect and serve them. He is another example of the PHS outstanding student-athlete grads," said John Armato, speaking for the school district. "Thanks for giving us another reason to say Proud to be from Pottstown," Armato added.
