TCACC Presents $6,000 to Area Schools and Technology Centers
Pottstown, PA: The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce returned to holding Membership Breakfasts on Thursday, February 24. Our 2022 Membership Breakfasts are titled “9 in 5 Series”, in celebration of our Chamber’s 95th Anniversary.
The Chamber will be featuring 9 speakers over 5 months in 2022 and each breakfast will last 95 minutes. The February 24 Breakfast featured Rich Newell, President of Pottstown Hospital Tower Health and April Barkasi, President and Owner of CEDARVILLE Engineering Group, LLC.
In addition to our speakers, on behalf of the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. we presented $6000 to area schools. As an Educational Improvement Organization, as designated by the state of Pennsylvania, our Foundation was fortunate to receive a $5000 donation from Tompkins VIST Bank. Our Foundation, when it was created in the early 2000s, designated our focus on supporting vocational, career-development oriented programs in our Chamber Member public schools. The following schools were each presented a $1000 check to their school foundations to use to supplement funding for projects that might otherwise not be offered to benefit the students in their district:
