'Wild and Scenic'
Kurt Zwikl, executive director of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area, on Tuesday discussed a new event coming to Pottstown.

The Schuylkill River Heritage Area will bring a new event to Pottstown.
Pedal and Paddle in Pottstown will start with a 4.5 mile bicycle ride from Pottstown's Riverfront Park to Douglassville where participants will take a guided tour of the historic Morlatton Village followed by a short bike ride to Douglassville’s Ganshahawny Park, eat lunch and get a brief lesson on kayaking.
The first half of the trip will use borrowed yellow bicycles from Bike Pottstown - a free bicycle share program based at Tri County Bicycles on E. High Street and sponsored by the Schuylkill River Heritage Area.
