Woman Killed In North Coventry Crash

NORTH COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman was killed in a head-on crash in North Coventry Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 1:09 p.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of South Hanover Street.

A black Chevrolet Aveo struck a green Jeep Wrangler head on, police said.

The fatal victim was a passenger in the Chevy. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drivers in both vehicles were taken to Reading Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim's identity was not released.
