$120K PennDOT Grant for Bridge-Height Warning System in Radnor
State Rep., Lisa Borowski, a former Radnor commissioner, presented the check to the township at Monday night's commissioners' meeting.

RADNOR. PA — State Rep. Lisa Borowski on Monday night presented a $120,350 check from the state to Radnor commissioners for a bridge-height warning system on King of Prussia Road.
The PennDOT grant will be used to alert motorists of the bridge height to prevent vehicles from striking the bridge over King of Prussia Road.
“It is my honor to be here tonight,” Borowski, a former commissioner, said before presenting the check.

Commissioner Moira Mulroney thanked Borowski for representing Radnor in state government.
“You got your start with us on the board of commissioners, and now you are representing us in state government," Mulroney said. "Thank you for your service. We appreciate all of the hard work you have done, and you barely just got there.”
Borowski, a former Radnor commissioner, noted that she helped advocate for the system when she was a commissioner.
The roadway is a heavily traveled area that has experienced 100 strikes over the past 10 years, including 23 in 2018, according to the Radnor Township police.
In June, the Radnor commissioners awarded a $39,000 design contract to Gilmore & Associates, New Britain. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
