2025 Wayne Turkey Trot Shaping Up To Be Biggest Yet
In its ninth year, the annual Thanksgiving Day Wayne Turkey Trot is expected to have its more runners and raise more money than ever.
WAYNE, PA — Before you gobble down (pun intended) your Thanksgiving repast, maybe you want to earn some extra calories by participating in the Ninth Annual Thanksgiving Day Wayne Turkey Trot (not that you need to earn them, treat yourself).
This year's 5K turkey trot is shaping up to be the most attended, as well as the most beneficial to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Financial Scholars, and the Radnor Police K-9 Unit.
The race begins at 8 a.m. Thursday, just outside the Great American Pub in downtown Wayne.

More than 1,000 runners and walkers braved the rain in 2024, when the event raised $40,000. This year's registrations are on pace to surpass that number.
