7th Annual Unity In Our Community Event Set For Aug 23 In Wayne
This year's event will feature food, refreshments, games, crafts for children and teens, music, dance performances, and more activities.
WAYNE, PA — Radnor residents are invited to join the township's Seventh Annual Unity in Our Community event on Aug. 23 in Wayne.
The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Highland Avenue in Wayne and is free to attend.
Attendees will find food, refreshments, games, crafts for children and teens, music, dance performances, and other more activities led by community members, the Radnor Police Department, and Radnor Fire Company.

From 7:30 a.m. to about 5 p.m. that day, there will be traffic and parking impacts due to the event.

Highland Avenue will be closed between Federal Street and Church Street/Highland Court For all residents impacted by the Highland Avenue closure. Residents who plan to leave their homes during the event should move vehicles before the event to one of the identified parking locations on Friday.

The Highland Homes Parking Lot identified on the map below will be closed for activities due to the extra space that is needed for the event. Those who park in that lot are asked to move vehicles ahead of the event to one of the identified parking locations on Friday so the lot is clear for event set up Saturday.
Parking options include Odorisio Park at West Wayne Avenue Parking Lot, Church Street, Friends of Radnor Trails Park, Wayne Art Center, and any available on-street parking that is not within the event area.
Radnor Police will be providing safety support for the event.
There will also be an increased amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area, and the public is urged to use extra caution when traveling in and around the area.
