Agnes Irwin Commencement Thursday

The president of Swarthmore College will deliver the commencement address.

Sixty-six Agnes Irwin School seniors will graduate at the school's 144th Commencement exercises on Thursday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at Goodhart Hall at Bryn Mawr College.

Georgia Fortunato is the senior speaker, and the commencement speaker will be Rebecca Chopp, president of Swarthmore College. Chopp, the 14th president of Swarthmore College, is a well-known scholar of progressive religious movements in American culture and has most recently focused her research on changing structures and cultures of higher education, on the role of liberal arts in a democratic society, and on religion and higher education, according to the school.

There will be limited parking in various parking lots at Bryn Mawr College; street parking is the only other option, according to the school.
