Amtrak Death at Devon Station Ruled Suicide

Reports say a Montgomery County woman died from her injuries on the Chester County tracks Wednesday night.

A Montgomery County woman’s death on the train tracks near SEPTA’s Devon station Wednesday night has been ruled a suicide, according to Philly.com.

Emily Nicole Greenfield, 20, of Royersford, was killed when she was struck by an Amtrack train traveling from Harrisburg to New York at approximately 7 p.m. The incident suspended service on SEPTA’s Thorndale/Paoli Line for 90 minutes.

Greenfield was pronounced dead at the scene.
