Bobbleheads Of New Pope, Villanova Grad, Available For Preoder
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled their new bobbleheads of Villanova graduate Pope Leo XIV Friday morning.

VILLANOVA, PA — With the world reacting to the news of Villanova graduate Robert Francis Prevost being named the 267th pope, Pope Leo XIV, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is getting in on the fervor.
The institution Friday unveiled the first bobbleheads of Pope Leo XIV.

These new figurines are available for preorder now online here. They are expected to ship in November.

Each bobblehead will be individually numbered and are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s digital store.
The bobbleheads are $30 each, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

One bobblehead features Pope Leo XIV waving to the crowd wearing a traditional white cassock, red pellegrina, a red and gold stole, and a pectoral cross that he wore when he was introduced as the new Pope on the balcony at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
The other features the smiling pontiff wearing a white cassock with attached pellegrina and girded with a fringed white fascia, a pectoral cross suspended from and gold cord and a white zucchetto. He is standing on a circular white and gold base bearing his name.

The 69-year-old Prevost graduated from Villanova in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.
He is the first American to ever hold the position, and was chosen despite the Vatican's long-held hesitancy to select a pope from one of the world's superpowers. In the past, America has also been seen as too secular in the eyes of the strict dogmatists in Rome.

"Bobblehead are the perfect way to show off your admiration for a given person, and with the excitement surrounding the first Pope from North America, we know the Pope Leo XIV bobbleheads are going to be very popular!"
Additionally, a limited number of bobbleheads of Pope Francis are still available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s store.
