Borowski Secures Funds For Wayne Art Center And More
The funding for the center, water and sewer projects is from the American Rescue Plan.

RADNOR, PA – State Rep. Lisa Borowski on Tuesday said the Commonwealth Financing Authority has awarded funds for five projects in the 168 District, which includes Radnor Township.
“This is welcome support for essential township infrastructure projects and local cultural organizations,” said Borowski, a Delaware County Democrat.
"This grant funding will help bring to fruition long-planned projects impacting quality of life issues and help support local treasures," she said.

Borowski said the projects are sound investments for the region's growth.
"While the funding categories couldn’t be more different – water and sewer projects versus arts and culture projects – both types of efforts are essential to happy, healthy communities," she said.

The grants come from three different categories of American Rescue Plan funding:
- Wayne Art Center, Radnor
$42,929 to offset lost revenue for the art organization
- Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation, Edgmont
$10,309 to offset lost revenue for the historic site organization
H2O PA - Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Program:
- Middletown Township Sewer Authority
- $1.5 million for the Heilbron-Knowlton Pump Station Upgrade Project
Small Water and Sewer Program:
- Middletown Township Sewer Authority
- $408,000 for the Pump Station Back-up Power Project
- Newtown Township
- $227,500 for the Sawmill Road Stormwater Management Project
Established in 2004 as an agency of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, CFA administers Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages.
