Free Mammograms Offered to Uninsured Women
Screenings are being offered to uninsured women. The deadline to register is this week.

Penn Medicine in Radnor is offering free mammograms to women who do not have health insurance on Saturday, October 19 from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m..
The free mammogram and clinical breast exams are being funded by the Nancy Cares Fund. The fund was started by Nancy Roach of Wayne after a brush with breast cancer in mid-2004. Her husband Chip tells Patch "she started a charity with the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems community radiology department called "Nancy Cares". In the past few years, Penn Medicine has performed over 2,000 mammograms and other breast health procedures for almost 1,800 women in this area. The funds for this effort have been raised through our family and friends."
The mammograms and breast exams are being offered at Penn Medicine Radiology at 250 King of Prussia Road in Radnor.
