Help Eliminate the Stigma of Mental Illness for Young People
The next DMAX Foundation public meeting will be held on Saturday, November 30 at Radnor High School in the Black Box room at 10:30 a.m.

During the 18 months that their teenage son Daniel was dealing with emotional difficulties, Lee Maxwell and Laurie Burstein-Maxwell of Bryn Mawr felt that they could not tell anyone about it.
The stigma attached to mental illness kept their struggle a secret, and that stigma has now inspired them to create the DMAX Foundation in honor of Dan, a recent Radnor High School graduate who died in July.
The next DMAX Foundation public meeting will be held on Saturday, November 30 at Radnor High School in the Black Box room at 10:30 a.m.

After presentations about the foundation's progress, attendees will break up into several groups including parent and high school and college student groups to learn how you can participate in helping to eliminate stigma and generate safe and caring conversations about mental and emotional pain in our youth.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in attending.
