Main Line 'Scam Jam' Event To Help Seniors Avoid Fraudsters, Schemers

Attendees will learn about various types of scams and how to avoid them from local and state authorities next week in Radnor Township.

WAYNE, PA — Local community members are invited to an event on the Main Line next week that will help them learn about common fraud schemes and scams.

State Rep. Lisa Borowski is hosting a "Scam Jam" event from 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 25 at the Wayne Senior Center.

The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

Representatives from the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, Radnor Township Police, and AARP Pennsylvania will be at the event.
