Man Sought For Hit-And-Run That Hurt Several In Delco Last Year

CHESTER, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are asking for help finding a man they said was involved in a hit-and-run that seriously hurt several people last year.

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for Shawn Christopher McGuire.

McGuire, 33, of Brookhaven, is wanted on a slew of charges, including aggravated assault by vehicle, accidents involving injury while not licensed, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to notify police, failure to render air, and more crimes.

The crash occurred Jan. 5, 2024 on Interstate 95 northbound in the area of Exit 4 in Chester City.

Before police arrived at the crash scene, McGuire fled the area, according to authorities.

McGuire's last known address is 26 W. Roland Road in Brookhaven.

He is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
