N.H. Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Punxsutawney Phil
Pennsylvania's most famous rodent must be held accountable for the terrible New England winter, police said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Pennsylvania’s most famous rodent by police in Merrimack, N.H. His crime? Extending winter.
“We here at Merrimack Police felt compelled to let the public know that there is a warrant for Punxsutawney Phil,” police said. “We have received several complaints from the public that this little varmint is held up in a hole, warm and toasty. He told several people that winter would last six more weeks; however, he failed to disclose that it would consist of mountains of snow!”

“If you see him, do not approach him as he is armed and dangerous,” police said. “Call Merrimack Police, we will certainly take him into custody!
Phil’s handlers had not responded to the terrible allegations Wednesday.
