US Marshals Arrest Man At Villanova University: Police
Federal authorities were on Villanova University's campus Wednesday afternoon to make an arrest in connection with a recent incident.

VILLANOVA, PA — Federal authorities made an arrest in Villanova Wednesday, but officials said it was unrelated to the recent active shooter hoaxes.
U.S. Marshals took Shawn Moir, 26, of Vineland, New Jersey, into custody in a Villanova University parking garage at about 1:30 p.m.
Moir was wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of his grandfather, 59-year-old Albert Moir, which occurred at about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the Vineland home they shared.

Shawn Moir is not affiliated with Villanova University, school officials told Patch.
Radnor Township Police at about 1:30 p.m. said the large law enforcement presence in Villanova was no cause for fear among the community.

Shawn Moir fled the scene of the stabbing before police arrived, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said.
Vineland police responded to the stabbing around 11 p.m. Tuesday on Diamond Drive. Shawn Moir had stabbed the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived, authorities said.
Investigators from the Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia found a black Chevy Tahoe Shawn Moir stole from his grandfather after the murder inside a Villanova University parking garage at the intersection of Lancaster and Ithan Avenue, authorities said.
Not long after conducting surveillance on the vehicle, Shawn Moir was seen inside it and taken into custody without incident.
He was taken to the Radnor Police Department for processing.
Shawn Moir was charged with two counts of murder and one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon (knife) and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
