'The Office' Star Being Inducted Into Main Line School's Hall Of Fame

The Archbishop John Carroll High School Hall of Fame Class for 2025 includes Kate Flannery, '82, who played Meredith Palmer on "The Office."

RADNOR, PA — Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor is hosting the 2025 Hall of Fame Dinner this weekend in Delaware County, and a star of the hit series "The Office" is among the new inductees.

The ceremony and dinner will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Saturday at The Drexelbrook, 4700 Drexelbrook Drive in Drexel Hill.

The inductees into the Archbishop John Carroll High School Hall of Fame Class for 2025 include Kate Flannery, Class of 1982.

Flannery is best known for playing Meredith Palmer on the hit NBC series "The Office" from 2005 to 2013.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Ardmore, Flannery attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia and began her professional acting career in 1999.

She won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actor's Guild in 2007 and 2008 with her fellow cast mates from "The Office."

Also being inducted is actor Maria Bello, Class of 1985. Bello is best known for her roles in "A History of Violence," "ER," "Coyote Ugly," and "The Cooler."

University of Delaware basketball coach Martin Inglesby, Class of 1997, is also among this year's inductees. Inglesby is the son of former NBA star Tom Inglesby and brother of creator of HBO's "Task" and "Mare of Easttown" Brad Inglesby.

Former Radnor Police Lieutenant and current Lower Merion Police Superintendent Andrew Block, Class of 1985, is also among those being inducted this weekend.

Other inductees are:

  • Dr. Maureen Lawlor Yelovich '73;
  • Christopher Dougherty '74;
  • Karen Schwerdtfeger Barnes '81;
  • Keith Conway '91;
  • Mimi Riley Clark '97;
  • Paige Andrews Scardigli '02;
  • Brother Joseph Mahon, FSC, Principal 1972-1979 and Dean of Students '71;
  • and the 2000 Philadelphia Catholic League Championship Football Team.

The Archbishop John Carroll Hall of Fame recognizes alumni, faculty, coaches, and staff who have made outstanding contributions to the Archbishop John Carroll High School community.

These contributions and accomplishments reflect the school’s commitment to excellence in the areas of spiritual, academic, athletic, and social development.

All funds raised through the Hall of Fame event support the Barry Kirsch Scholarship for Distinguished Service and tuition assistance for Archbishop John Carroll High School students.
