Police: Home Break-in and Car Theft Reported in Radnor

According to police, a suspect broke into a home on Ashwood Road, took a set of car keys and drove off in the victims' car.

Radnor Police are investigating a burglary that occurred overnight between Sunday and Monday, according to a report from the department.

The report says that the burglary took place in the 100 block Ashwood Road in the Villanova section of Radnor sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

According to police, the suspect entered the home by cutting a screen and opening an unlocked kitchen window. The unidentified burglar grabbed a set of keys which were in plain view, then took the victims’ car parked in the driveway.

Officials urge residents to lock all doors and windows when not home and at nighttime and set alarms systems where applicable.
