Police: Jogger Assaulted on Radnor Trail

A woman told police that another runner slapped her on the buttocks while jogging on the trail Tuesday morning.

Radnor police are searching for suspect who allegedly assaulted a jogger on the Radnor Trail Tuesday morning.

According to an alert from the police department, the victim told police that she was approached by the unidentified male suspect at the two-mile marker at Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue at approximately 8:30 a.m.

The man asked if she wanted a running partner, and she declined the offer and continued running. According to police, the man followed her, made a comment about her body and slapped her on the buttocks.

The victim ran from the suspect, and when she looked back he was gone, according to police.

Officers describe the suspect as a white man in his 20s, wearing a black shirt and gray running shorts.
