Polished Salon for Natural Nails Opens in Wayne
This week the salon is running specials to mark the store's opening.
A new nail salon has opened this week in downtown Wayne.
Polished Salon for Natural Nails, is a fume-free nail salon in the basement of The Suburban Building on North Wayne Avenue.
Wayne is the fourth location of the business, said co-owner and manager Savette Thach, a former graphic designer who has always loved doing nails. Polished does not do work on acrylic nails, which means a fume-free environment, she told Radnor Patch.
Thach also said she takes pride in a very clean environment. Her nail files are sanitizable, her buffers are cut into small pieces so they are never reused, and the pipeless tubs for pedicures do not recycle old water. She also offers an LED drying lighter for those who prefer it over the UV dryers.
Polished takes walk-ins and appointments. This week the salon is running specials to mark the store's opening. Thach said to call (484-580-6620) or stop in to inquire about them. She also offers services for men and children. The current hours of operation are weekdays 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Originally a refugee from Cambodia, Thach grew up in Philadelphia. She told Radnor Patch that all of her employees speak English. "It's very important to us. We want to be able to communicate with our clients and take care of them," she said.
