The young cancer survivor went through two-and-a-half years of treatment, and during his treatment was the recipient of more than 40 blood platelet transfusions.
The Jones family hopes Friday's drive can raise awareness of the need for blood donations while also having real-life impacts on people who need blood.
Those who wish to donate blood can make an appointment online here or simply walk in for a donation appointment.
The Radnor Township Building is located at 301 Iven Ave. in Wayne.
