Radnor Environmental Advisory Council Hosting Numerous Lectures

Topics of the lecture series include water quality, climate change, the benefits of tree canopies, native plants, and more.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA —The Radnor Township Environmental Advisory Council has a slate of upcoming lectured and workshops that the community is invited to attend.

All events will be held at the Radnor Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Ave. in Wayne.

  • Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. — "The Delaware County Sustainability Plan," Rebecca Yurkovich, Delaware County Office of Sustainability
  • March 19 at 7 p.m. — "Good Things Come In Trees: The Benefits of a Neighborhood Canopy," Jennifer Santoro, Villanova Professor of Environmental Science
  • April 29 at 6 p.m. — "Climate Change in the Delaware Valley," Michael Weilbacher
  • April 30 at 6 p.m. — "Drinking Water Treatment and Quality," Aqua PA, Dave Rustay, Director of Water Quality and Environmental Compliance
  • May 6 at 6 p.m. — "Native Plants and Meadows: Creating Habitat at Home," Mike Cranney, Willistown Conservation Trust Director of Stewardship
