Radnor High School Presents “Footloose! The Musical”

Students are performing this weekend, March 2 to 4, in the Radnor High School auditorium.

WAYNE, PA —Radnor High School will present a live production of "Footloose! The Musical," March 2-4 at the Radnor High School auditorium, 130 King of Prussia Road, Radnor.

Evening performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4.

There will also be a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.

The 1998 musical is based on the 1984 movie of the same name. It tells the story of a city teenager who moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned.

The show will feature more than 60 students on and off stage, as well as in the pit orchestra.
The lead roles are double cast, with one group of actors performing Thursday and Saturday night and the other on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

JC Church and Shane Roche will star as Ren; Sophia Kaisermann and Madeleine Kane as Ariel; Jacob Braunfeld and Aidan Oliver as Rev. Shawn; and Michael McNicholas and Emmett Hillman as Willard.

The musical’s production and musical direction are by Dr. Bruce Glenny, and artistic and stage direction is by Ryan Walden. Technical direction is by Brian Dietzler and
choreography is by Susan Greene.

Tickets, which cost $15, can be purchased in advance online.
