"We're thrilled to play a part in a search for a cure and couldn't be happier to partner with the American Lung Association. Our missions align so nicely — both trying to save lives and prevent disease. IM | Health is a unique primary care center in Wayne, where we take a multi-disciplinary approach to helping our patients live longer and better. The cause of the American Lung Association is also personal for me, as I lost my father, who was a non-smoker, to lung cancer in 2012," said physician Rock Walker, founder of IM | Health.
Money raised at the Radnor Run will support the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease, as well as support the Lung Association's COVID-19 Action Initiative.
The COVID-19 Action Initiative is a $25 million investment to address COVID-19 and protect against future respiratory virus pandemics. The initiative works with public and private entities to increase research collaboration and develop new vaccines, detection tests, and treatment therapies.
