Radnor Seeks To Fill Commissioner Position

The township is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy for a commissioner in the 4th Ward.

RADNOR, PA —Radnor Township is seeking to fill a vacancy for a commissioner in the 4th Ward, following the recent resignation of Commissioner Lisa Borowski.

Borowski was elected in November to serve as a state representative of District 168, which consists of Radnor, Newtown, Edgmont and Middletown townships.

She resigned her position as commissioner of the 4th ward on Nov. 28.

Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest or resume to the Office of the Township Secretary, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne , PA 19087 by Friday Dec. 9.

Candidates must be a resident and registered elector in the 4th Ward for a period of one year immediately prior to the appointment.

All interested individuals will be asked to present their candidacy to the board of commissioners at the Dec. 12 public meeting.
The board will vote on the appointment that night.
A commissioner is elected for a 4-year term by the voters of the ward and is compensated $2,100 per year in accordance with the Home Rule Charter. More information is available here.
