Radnor Skate Park Closed During Parking Lot Construction
Heavy machinery around the park forced officials to keep the area off-limits until further notice.
Radnor skaters hoping to catch some air at the township’s skate park have been asked to put their plans on hold indefinitely.
The township administration has decided to restrict access to the park while heavy construction machinery continues to work on improvements to the municipal headquarters’ parking lot. The issue is one of safety, according to alert, as the park is located directly adjacent to the project.
The good news is that work will also begin soon for upgrades and enhancements approved for the skate park. Plans include resurfacing the black top and adding new structures, including:
